Mabley Street, London E9
The property at Mabley Street in the Homerton area of east London required a full-scale renovation after been allowed to fall into disrepair. The three-bedroom house required a complete gutting and the removal of nearly eight skips worth of accumulated rubbish, including the family of rats that had set up home in the back garden. Once clear it was easy to see that the house had bags of potential with healthy room sizes, including a large kitchen/dining area along with outside space. All rooms were stripped back and replastered, along with a re-wiring of the property and the installation of a new gas central heating system. A brand new bathroom and integrated kitchen were put in with all mods cons along with bi-folding doors leading out to the newly regenerated back garden. And by clever use of space on the ground floor we were able to move the existing downstairs cloakroom and create from a formerly limited-space room a fourth bedroom.
The project took eight weeks.
